Total Barre is a high-energy workout blending Pilates, dance, cardio, and strength training to uplifting music. It builds strength, flexibility, stamina, and dynamic stability through rhythm-based, biomechanically sound movement.

Originally from Italy, I moved to Germany to complete a Bachelor in Dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. During my four years of study, I spent six months in France as part of an Erasmus exchange at the CNSMD Lyon.
After graduating, I began working as a freelance dancer in North Rhine-Westphalia and later joined the Neuer Tanz Dance Company in Düsseldorf under the direction of WA Wölfl, where I performed for four years.
In 2018, I completed my first Mat Pilates certification in Germany, marking the start of my passion for teaching movement. I began offering Pilates training to the dance company, alongside teaching Ballet and Contemporary Dance at private schools throughout NRW.
Driven by a growing interest in pedagogy and movement education, I decided to transition from performing to teaching full-time. I pursued a Master’s degree in Dance Pedagogy at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, further deepening my knowledge of body mechanics and instruction.
Alongside my studies, I became a B-License Fitness Instructor, a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor for Reformer, a Total Barre Instructor, and I completed a specialization in Pre- and Postnatal Training.
Now based in Lucerne, Switzerland, I teach Pilates, Ballet, and Contemporary Dance, and am the founder of MM Pilates & Barre Luzern, offering both private and group training.
Mother of two, I embrace movement as both art and philosophy—a way to remain curious, present, and joyfully aware throughout life’s transitions.
